drfish
On that tweet that Mavric posted, it looked to me like AM looked down at Stoll coming on the crossing route from the right to get Wandale open with his eyes. I liked that a lot Quote Link to comment
SECHusker
@Mavric granted this will come with more understanding of the offense, but if Martinez checked the ball to Mills that would be a huge gain. Quote Link to comment
ColoradoHusk
@SECHusker yes, Mills is open, and he could have gained big yardage, but he's not the primary receiver on the play, Wandale is. Adrian's pass to Wandale for the first down is the easiest pitch and catch that is available, and it gained a first down. I don't think the coaches are downgrading Adrian for taking that decision. 3 Quote Link to comment

ColoradoHusk
@Nebfanaticespecially if you are passing the ball to a more dynamic player in the open field. I know Mills is underrated as a receiver, but I will take the pass to Wandale all day instead of Mills. 6 Quote Link to comment

Interesting that Mills stayed into block when Purdue sent both LB's, while he released into the flat when Purdue only blitzed one LB on the earlier play. 1 Quote Link to comment

krc1995
What the back story to why Conner Culp left LSU? He’s very solid. Quote Link to comment

Culp was LSU's starting kicker in 2017, as a redshirt freshman. He was 11 for 16 in FG's and 20 for 23 in PAT's, so solid, but not spectacular. Culp was beat out by senior Cole Tracy in 2018. In 2019, Culp was beat out by freshman kicker, Cade York, who was a high school All-American in Texas. So, after not appearing in any games in 2018 & 2019, Culp was looking for a place to finish out his career as a grad transfer. 3 1 Quote Link to comment
