If the Lakers have taught us anything, it's that they can make every bad decision imaginable and still end up with 2 superstars and a title run because .... Lakers.

I would love a deep run, but in the West, with as poorly as this roster has been assembled, I'll be surprised if they are higher than a 6 seed.   And I wouldn't be shocked if they were in the play in game again this year.   And that's if LBJ and AD stay healthy, which hasn't happened the last 2 years.

And looking at the schedule, it doesn't get any easier.  They easily could be 0-11 and playing in a game titled "someone's got to win" against a winless Sacramento team.   As a Lakers fan, it's really disheartening to see Buss give full faith in the Front Office (and Klutch) to get us out of this mess, knowing full well they are the ones that got us in this damn mess.   Need to change up front office to clean up this poop program.

Luka Doncic is averaging 36.7 points per game.  He is the 6th player in NBA history to score 30 points a game through the first 6 games, and the last time that it was done was by the GOAT Michael Jordan in 1986.  A long time ago.

I think by the end of the year he will be around 26-27 ppg, with resting games with sufficient leads, poor free throw shooting and uncanny injuries.

But still, it is fun to enjoy the ride in the current moment.

He just keeps bringing it, making a case for the best player in the NBA.

They Luka story comes with anecdotes of him playing as a 16 year old against the grown men and notorious badasses of Eastern European pro ball, and never, ever looking intimidated by the moment.

Big Warriors fan, but appreciate a lot of other teams and players, including the Nuggets, Mavs, Suns, and Heat.

At the same time I can't get enough of certain teams losing, including the Lakers, the Clippers, the Nets, and whoever James Harden is playing for.

I concur with tenants (clippers) and Harden.  A lot of this recent Nets hate seems like it is mostly due to KD or Kyrie or both, most years I don't have feelings about the Nets.   I enjoy seeing Kyrie lose, even before this latest fiasco, so I'm good with the Nets losing right now, as soon as Kyrie is gone, I'll be indifferent towards them.   I also take a lot of pleasure in seeing the dirty c-bags lose.  That's not happening nearly enough for my taste.
