Mavric
Bray visited today and Lewis will visit next weekend. He's interested in us but he's not in a hurry to decide. Quote Link to comment
HIPP REDWINE ROZIER
Dumb question. Can we get better? Than a guy for 1 year. Meaning get a guy we can develop over 5 years. Quote Link to comment

Sign several HD LB's but also take someone who can come in and play at a high level right away. Quote Link to comment

If yes we are in a world of hurt Quote Link to comment
Geaux Big Red
So you would turn down a linebacker that isn't fresh out of high school 18 year old. Its a scholarship commitment for one year. Not a bad deal for Nebraska at this time. Quote Link to comment
HIPP REDWINE ROZIER
I wouldn't. If it was similar to Russell Wilson when he left NCSU to Wisconsin then yes. But this is not even close. IMO Quote Link to comment
husker_fan_from_sweden
Grab known quantities when you can. Last season showed you can never have enough depth at your weakest position. Quote Link to comment
ScottyIce
Was a 4 star recruit in HS and should be able to contribute. He was called a "b10 LB" by his coach. Is only a 1 year scholarship in an area of need. It's a no brainer, if you don't get it, you're unintelligent. He will help solve our situation with numbers at LB tremendously. Plays for 1 year while we develop depth behind him. Quote Link to comment
NoLongerN
Taking a one year guy can also offset the LB recruiting depth so it all evens out over time. Taking 7 LB in one class can take years to get it back to a balanced level. If he can contribute with impact I'd take a one year player or a JUCO for a couple of years. I'll worry about all this if he will even consider us. :-) Quote Link to comment

ScottyIce
To not take this guy would be unintelligent yes. Therefore if you don't want him, you'd be less smart than the average human being. Quote Link to comment
Warrior10
Looks like Riley was in-home today. Quote Link to comment
