  1. Past hour
  2. More of this, please. Republican former lieutenant Governor of Georgia, @GeoffDuncanGA says he’ll be voting for Joe Biden in November: “Unlike Trump, I’ve belonged to the GOP my entire life. This November, I am voting for a decent person I disagree with on policy over a criminal defendant without a moral compass.” Country over party
  3. How much is he getting paid? I think I'ld rather get paid a little less and be a starting QB in the USFL than a practice squad QB in the NFL
  4. Good for him. Even though he left under rather strained circumstances (did you feel the strain?) I though he always conducted himself in classy manner. It would have been easy for things to go south durning the PCs after some of the losses where he was at the helm.
  5. Israel has not agreed to it and has continued bombing the Rafah region.
  6. While he hasn't competed at the P5 level yet I really like the way he took care of the ball in 3 years of HS. At least he hasn't been a turnover machine like some of our more recent QBs. Passing 566/881 (64.2%), 88 TDs & 11 INTs (8:1). Hope the line can protect him and open some holes for the RBs which will help a ton.
  7. An apparent slip by Trump counsel as he elicits from McConney that Weisselberg told him the money was for some sort of reimbursement. Remember: that is the DA's position, and that the paperwork disguised it as legal fees. And Trump wants to say it was really legal fees and not a reimbursement.
  8. Was this supposed to be released on April 1st?
  9. Good point there that there is maybe a separate, more specific discussion that is focused on second half turnovers. Still so many examples though (and we could even pick ones from last season) where I feel like you can basically just write off the late-game turnovers because of the first half mistakes. We're often times playing tense and scared from the opening kickoff, and that sets up the failures at the end of a game.
  10. I think you're mostly saying the same thing as undone, and agree with the general sentiment. I think that was the verdict on Adrian in a certain sense - his ceiling was 9 gamebreaking highlights per game and they kept us in the game, but we needed him to have 10, and that final one was often the one that killed us.
  11. @TGHusker and anyone else in the risk area. Stay safe today.
  12. I guess I've tended to think that it's more the opposite. We've lost a ton of games by one score and so they're forcing things to try to "make a play" that will get us the win. But when you're pressing that hard for that long, you're bound to make mistakes.
  13. Honest question - are there any hostages alive to release?
  14. I maintain that by and large, the turnovers have less to do with inferior talent than they do with the players being so scared of making mistakes. So many of our guys are playing tight and scared instead of loose and confident. I think there's also just a general sense of desperation that obviously does way more harm than good. I'd count the false starts as being tied to this as well. Now of course we fielded two QB's last season that really were 6'4" running backs and that was a big part of the problem, but you can still just throw the ball out of bounds or take a sack instead making some of the throws those guys made. This is where position coaches and overall team culture is really important. Change the mindset of stepping onto the football field. The article was good. And to the fourth point (keeping the defensive momentum), giving Tony White a 60% raise was the cornerstone to that. We probably should have just made it an even doubling of his salary, the guy seems to just be that good.
  15. You are the one claiming it would end up being right wingers behind all this.
  16. Out on my deck on a table. Next to my Blackstone Griddle so that I can just share the propane tank. Nothing super fancy.
  17. We need to be honest about ourselves and start acknowledging that voters who support this are stupid. Stop coddling these people, refer to them for what they are. Sorry that huge swaths of the American public fit that criteria, but it's objectively the case. Not properly referring to these supporters as stupid only serves to equalize the policies they support - such as the above - which is at worst dangerous and at best a moronic attempt at destabilizing democracy. PS - I hope Republican voters are proud of what their party has become.
  18. What's your setup? Just on a table in the garage or something?
  19. The Roast of Tom Brady on Netflix is worth a look. I don’t know why any normal person would agree to do one of these. Warning- it is a bit long, clocking at over 3 hours. Prolly not for the kiddos. Some funny and crude stuff in there.
  20. Today
  21. See...that is it! I am taking mine back and buying my friends Ninja... Basically the same thing as the Ooni in terms of speed/heat. Thanks!
  22. American's get the government they deserve. If they want authoritarian stupidity, they deserve authoritarian stupidity. The only thing I hope for is that when Donald Trump wins, that they win the majorities needed to actually enact the agenda items his voters clamor for. Deport all illegal immigrants, raise tariffs on imported goods, criminalize women as murders for seeking abortions. Stop protecting voters from their own stupidity, they need to start paying the consequences for their vote.
  23. Right??? This is what I was thinking too
