Just got out of surgery to fix my ankle, it was dislocated and broken in three different places.  It's been a rough last few days, but on the plus side, my anesthesiologist was Rob Zatechka.

Lost my Dad yesterday. He was 82 and boy did he love sports. Most of our conversations were about the Huskers and the Mo. Tigers. Dad always liked to watch women's college basketball because he said they still played Team Ball. He will be missed.  

I know the transitive property doesn't work in college football but damn, compare tOSU vs Rutgers and then look at our game with them.

Question: Is there somewhere a person could see the profit each NU sport makes or doesn't make?

Our defense has given up a total of 355 yards and 7 points from the 3rd Quarter of Oregon through last Saturday's NIU debacle.

Save for not making adjustments soon enough vs. Oregon in the first half, I'd suggest our defense isn't a problem here.

Are you one of those that predicted a 4-6 win season? Are you also one that is mad we lost to Oregon? Are you a masochist? Shouldn't you have had plenty of time to have been expecting this and knowing it would happen?

Looks like our house escaped unscathed. Somehow, our house still has power, so my parents are headed there to stay until they get it back. We'll be heading back early Wednesday.

Baby girl entered the world by c-section at 2:48 PM weighing at 7 1/2 pounds and 19" long. Mom was running a 104/105 temp but that's down now and she's not in any pain.

We're headed out of the state. Not sure where we're stopping tonight. Trying to find a hotel anywhere in the southeast along our path is... hard.
