      True, for you to say Bando is a good football player is very myopic. I have seen nothing from Bando that makes me think he is "damn good".

    Reed, Banker, and Stewart should be canned. Stewart and Reed more than Banker. Stewart teaches terrible technique that can and easily be fixed IMO. And Reed was a head scratching add to begin with. Possibly another OL coach instead of Reed or even a CO-DC who does most of the recruiting. Also, better play calling. I understand we aren't as good at running the ball that's fine. But when it's 3rd and short, why pass?

    If Georgia Tech can do it why can't Nebraska? Do you really think Riley is ever going to average the win total Bo did? I don't, maybe I'm wrong, the fit just doesn't feel right to me. Don't mind Decked, he's just a kid... I don't even think he was alive last time we won a Nat'l Title... please enlighten me on the fantastic year Paul Johnson is having currently. I'm waiting. Oh wait.

    The option offense needs to stay in the past where it belongs. We would endure years of records such as this season with that style. Simply put, we don't have the players or the recruits for this system.

    ..... I think you missed the recent break down of our players who started at Purdue. I think we started 6 former walk-ons? Most didn't even have a ranking out of high school. Looks like that's good enough to play here. Kid has a lot of talent, no one is blowing smoke anywhere. yes and look what that got us. That's no justification for recruiting below what we are capable of.

    I'm not ready to give up on Riley. However, certain staff changes need to be made if coach Riley would like to save his job. Or he can ride off into the sunset when he gets canned after next year with another horrible repeat of a season.

    Passing the ball out of your own endzone with the backup QB. Seems like a great idea. Blocking the defender seems like an even better idea. I would say both of you are right. sh**ty blocking and sh**ty play-calling makes for a bad play.

    Maybe it's just me but our coaches should probably teach our players the basic fundamentals of football. But hey maybe that's just me.

    Riley and his staff minus bray are recruiting duds. Plain and simple. Banker and several others cannot connect with kids and are a definite liability at recruiting and on the field. Makes you wonder how they have a job in coaching. Especially Banker.
