  1. You did 4% of the team. I realize that it takes a lot of effort to do the 90man roster, but your sample size is not statistically significant at all.
  2. It's all a balance. I'd like to have everything but I'd rather have improved linebacker play if I had to choose.
  3. Agree for sure.. I am just like everybody else, trying to wrap my head around his season after never looking that amazing prior. Maybe it is real and I am absolutely fine with that. I like the kid a lot and its a great story with hopefully a lot more chapters to be written. That said, if there are chinks in the armor, the NFL will find and expose them. It will be interesting to watch him over the next 5 years. Jameis Winston can put up playstation numbers but he's on the verge of losing his job because he throws open a lot of receivers which in turn, throws open a lot of safeties and cornerbacks.
  4. I noticed that too but couldn't help but wonder if that ultimately hurts his NFL career. You don't get those same favorable matchups in the NFL.
  5. His post this time might actually be month-long-ban material. I've read some drivel but his "list" this time both takes, and bakes, the cake.
  6. Watching Burrow this year was a thing of beauty. The clip of him smoking the cigar after the win last night is almost a Time magazine moment in history type material. Glad to see him and LSU take all the awards and headlines this year instead of puking over the Bama hype again and again. Proud of Burrow, happy for him. He will always have a connection to the program and as time goes on, I'm sure what will play out is Nebraska fans will remember him and support him every bit as much as LSU ones will. He's a young spurned man at this time but as time passes, his family ties to the program plus us all living ever so slightly vicariously through his season this year will lead to a lifetime of legend in the Cornhusker state. It's kind of like watching your kid grow up. You want them to love the things you love but most of all you are happy to watch them be successful. Perfect storm of events landed the kid in the perfect spot and he was up for seizing it. That almost never happens. Hats off to Joe, I hope the future treats him just as well.
  7. I'd pay $20, easy, just to see Nebraska play good football again.
  8. And me with my decimal usage.
  9. Oh man, I wasn't trying to insult you. Post it all! Just meant usually the stuff they churn out is awesome and appealing to 18-25 year olds..I'm not sure this one is going to hit the mark. That said, nobody bats .1000.
  10. How about in the trash? So cheesy, swing and a miss imo.
  11. We will be able to buy twice as much Clorox from our phones.
  12. Taking bets on if he even finds the initiative to put his name in the transfer portal.
  13. I sure hope not or we really got the short end of the stick. Like telling Saban that we won't recruit the south if he agrees to leave us Alaska.
  14. Can't wait to see the list of Huskers declaring early.
  15. I will just never understand why people are so convinced that Scott wants to run some sort of finesse gimmicky system. The guy grew up in a state built on power football, won a NC on a team built on power football, and played safety in a power football oriented defense in the NFL. He then learned some offensive ideas from a innovative offensive minded coach. So, of his 40 years of life, he was ingrained w/ power physical football for almost 30 of it, yet people want to think that a few years learning from Kelly sells him on princy prance gimmick ball. False. The guy knows physicality is the key and he is working on that with every move he makes. That said, a physical mentality and physique doesn't happen in a week or two, yet a gimmick play can, so he's been forced to use what he has for now on the surface and build toward what he wants underneath. Scott knows he wants a mean physical team on the field, to think otherwise is silly.
  16. Stovall, Foster, Alex Davis, Collin Miller, Tanner Lee and JD Spielman arguably became some pretty significant contributors, that is almost 50% of those listed. If even one of Snod or Vok become a JD Spielman for us next year, I'll take it.
  17. Guessing he'd rather take his chances with a Duckback becoming a open receiver.
  18. I wanted him to come here badly, but the fact is he made it clear from the get go he had other dreams which is fine. It wasn't a "miss" in the traditional since. The coaches went after him hard, but once a person is clear that they have other plans, at some point the coaches have to respect that or it is just harassment. Obviously they could see he was a high character kid with his eyes set on ND and they have to trust that he is doing what is best for him and support that to some degree. That said, he has strong ties here certainly and nobody knows what the future holds. If things don't work out for him at ND, and I truly hope they do, but the door is always open and I'd be happy to have him rep the scarlet and cream at any time if he'd want to.
  19. Yes.. I just want all of the linebackers ever after enduring 2019
