I like how when other teams do it, it's dirty. When good 'ol, can't do wrong Nebraska does it, it's okay because we know about transfers and walk-ons. Michigan does the same thing.

Nebraska has 17 seniors on scholarship with 15 commits. Most recruiting folks seem to believe Nebraska is going to take 21-23 recruits.

Oregon had a few injuries that cost them in the middle of the season. That and Adams Jr. got better each week.

He's doing alright I would say. Mens basketball is about where it always is, girls volleyball is doing as well as it normally is, girls basketball is doing as well as normal...

But the most important sport at any major university, by far, is football. And he made a bad call by hiring Mike Riley. So he appropriately gets criticized for it.

Bringing up facts doesn't make the media 'liberal'. When the NY Times publishes an article about climate change, it's not 'a liberal arm'. It's simply publishing fact. The moderators asking valid questions is no different.

I'd argue that Nebraska has yet to play a team capable of blowing them out. The teams we're losing too aren't very good.

A loss to either Rutgers or Purdue would be pretty devastating to the coaches, team, and fan base. Even the most negative guys, like me, didn't predict something like this. Where are the sunshine pumpers to find a positive spin on this?

It's very rare in the modern era. If it has happened, it's on a team that was loaded with top 10 talent. Nebraska is not at that level.

I don't think they were "trying some things" when Southern Miss was storming back into the game. The pass defense is just horrible.

The offensive looks better, I agree. We still struggle with the tough yards. Can't pound the rock when we need too.

Davie does need to get better, but it's not all on him. Jones got beat late, and it looks like Cockrell had some times in coverage that were shaky. The times when Gerry has helped over the top led to some nice defensive plays, including an interception.

Penn State is actually recruiting well this season and has faced some pretty difficult circumstances with scholarships. The perception of the future of PSU is much higher than it is for Nebraska.

The Mike Riley hire didn't excite anybody outside of Nebraska, other than possibly Oregon State who made out like bandits with Andersen.

Haven't won much in 15 years. Maybe we shouldn't hold our laurels on crap that happened two decades ago and actually win something for a change.

People hate Dallas. That call goes the other way and the status' reads "HAHA, eat it Dallas!" Crazy how that works.

Florida was probably outplayed in the game too.
