You can disagree with my post, but do not tell me what to post...thanks.

Recruiting update - Michigan currently has 23 commitments with 16 available scholarships to give. Nice move, Harbaugh. Let's see how many guys get "injured" and decide not to play football anymore.

Wow. Ratings for semifinals WAY down from last year. Not sure who made the decision to put them on NYE but it wasnt smart. Guess ESPN wanted them on NYD but decision makers wouldnt do it. Ratings around 15 last year, around 9.5 this year.

To the recruiting junkies, is there legitimate reason to be concerned about recruiting right now? Doesn't seem to be a lot of positivity in that category...
-
Not gonna lie, our recruiting momentum sucks compared to the #1 recruiting school in the nation right now... Why can't we always be #1, Fire Mike Riley
-
How big of a class can we take this year?
-
Oregon has sure turned things around this year.

What the bloody hell is this SE extention crap...

He's doing alright I would say. Mens basketball is about where it always is, girls volleyball is doing as well as it normally is, girls basketball is doing as well as normal...
But the most important sport at any major university, by far, is football. And he made a bad call by hiring Mike Riley. So he appropriately gets criticized for it.

Eichorst with the press release supporting Riley as he "rebuilds our storied program."

GOP debate candidates BLASTING mainstream media tonight. So awesome. I hate the mainstream media, more than I hate anything.

The only thing that remains to be seen about this season is if it will a historic low or not. Mike C's worst record here was 5-7. How bad will it get?

anyone know of a coach that had bad first season and went on to be successful?

If Nebraska alone isn't proof that you don't hire your friends in college football then I don't know what is.

Things that seem weird still...flags and bad clock management. I think that all gets fixed. I think that the offense looks heads and shoulders above last year, it seems like every pass play is basically open, the pass is not always made or the catch has been dropped but still it looks wide open. I am not worried about the D because I think today they were trying a few different things...also...I called the hell out of that Michigan blowout.

I don't know why I thought of this just now but what do you think is going through Eichorsts mind? I guess at 7am it is probably something about breakfast but I wonder what he is thinking about when it comes to the team and the fan base.

It's not all on Davie. Banker needs to put him in a position to succeed. Needs to think about adding safety help to his scheme.

Are there really people taking Donald Trump seriously as a candidate? REALLY?? /shakes head
-
I said before I thought Riley ended up with the 19th ranked class...change that...top 10! This is soooo sweet!

Nebraska finishes how many spots in front of the Beavers this year in recruiting? I say NU: 19 Beavers: 39

So on ESPN2 just now they talked about the resurgence of the BIG10 and mentioned all the 'Traditional powers' and mentioned MSU, Michigan, Penn State and improved Minnesota. No mention of us. #relevance

Penn State is actually recruiting well this season and has faced some pretty difficult circumstances with scholarships. The perception of the future of PSU is much higher than it is for Nebraska.
The Mike Riley hire didn't excite anybody outside of Nebraska, other than possibly Oregon State who made out like bandits with Andersen.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Vegas and sports' officiating have a relationship that runs deep.

Florida fans doing the SEC chant after beating ECU (from the vaunted American Conference) by a TD. Wow! How the mighty have fallen.
