Does anyone know or understand how the Thursday Night game is picked? I know CBS gets the AFC, FOX he NFC and Sunday night football goes to NBC (who I thought got first pick) but where does MNF and especially Thursday Night Football fall in this pecking order? I ask because tonight's game seems uncharacteristically interesting.

Will you be satisfied with Frost if we go 6-6 regular season this year? How many wins is acceptable?

Walmart is raising their base wage to $11/hour and offering paid parental leave. Almost zero large American employers offer this kind of leave. Hopefully other employers follow suit and this becomes the norm in America - we're the only major industrialized nation that doesn't offer this. American employers seem to punish families for having children. I always thought it was super weird.

So I talked to my wife about this last night, she still has friends stuck at the mart, said that yes minimum is increased but everyone's hours are being slashed and paid time off has been completely redone so that it is very difficult to accrue and even more difficult to use and impossible to use without threats and being yelled at.

Sorry, time for my Walmart rant, everybody has to see it, not every buddy has to read it.
This is total WalMart pub bs.
They would announce good for the employees sounds crap all the time while my wife worked there only for one of her 7 bosses to tell her and everyone else who worked there that whatever new thing was being lauded in the news didn't quite apply to them or anyone else for that matter. Didn't matter though the story already ran and Walmart looks good for the week. Then all seven bosses would tell her to do seven different things and six of them would yell at her for not doing their thing.
Fun fact the birth of my daughter would have likely been my wifes 3rd and final write-up had she not quit first. The first two write ups were a miscarriage scare at 2 AM 3 hours before her shift was supposed to start. Doctors note provided, still written up. Second write up, pregnant wife with a very contagious virus effecting her breathing, this time I delievered the doctors note this time personally. Still wrote up, given the warning any more absenses (birth included) would result in her termination.
Official response any absense (even with a doctor's note) was up to the descretion of the supervisor.
Also she was forced to work I think five days after her due date? I can't quite remember.

$5 says I'll have to listen to at least some of the basketball game on the radio like it's 1992 because the other game (whatever it is) will go long. #IHatePlayingSecond I hate BigTenPlus

Greg Schiano could end up with $20.75 M for Tennessee for being "fired without cause". It's a sticky situation, but I think Schiano would have a good case. http://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/21742751/greg-schiano-earned-277m-6-plus-years-scrapped-tennessee-deal

IMO it seemed more like Ten folks just hated the hire and dig some digging so they could stop the hire. Yeah, the stories could be true but it's really a he said/he said kind of thing.
In other words if Tennessee had hired Saban no one would have bothered turning over all the rocks to find something damning.
