What hotel did they put you at? I am going down in April and couldn't believe how expensive hotels were in downtown Denver. I was thinking of going the Priceline route too.

I got the Sheraton which was one of the few I was hoping for. Only 4 blocks to the convention center. Prob could of got it a bit cheaper ($80ish) if I would've went the bid route but some super duper Express Special popped up and offered $95, then I got an additional 5% off that, so I just took it.

I was just at The Curtis a few weeks ago. I like the hotel, but they are doing a ton of remodeling right now

GSG-I've seen a few of those articles on how to game priceline but that's not what I'm trying to do. Just trying to figure out if they'll offer more than one hotel if my bid price is high enough. Save some $$ but still have a choice.

I lived near Washington DC for a while, in northern Virginia. I mostly like it. Tons of historical sights in the area. Unfortunately, also tons of gov't bureaucrats. They are very annoying people, even when not at work.

I can get it at any liquor store in town (Greeley, CO). It's brewed by Great Divide in Denver. So, depending where you are.....

I was very surprised by it. Darker and maltier than I expected with a nice hop profile. I've never really had anything I can compare it to. Also known as a "wee heavy".
