Depends on where you're at. Teachers in Texas go through May and the first week of June, only to go back mid-August. When you're putting in 60+ hours/week, that's not enough downtime.

We had a girl on our team who quit with the excuse that she didn't have "passion" for it any longer but the real reason was she didn't like the coach and couldn't put up with him any longer. Problem not the same in your case but just sayin...

I had a couple buddies quit the baseball program prior to junior year. Really hurt us as seniors and as years go on, those two regret it, but don't like talking about it. There's a responsibility to your teammates that have been there with you throughout the years.

June hasn't exactly impressed at SMU where he is making nearly as much a Bo is.
