Homemade fried chicken is awesome. Once you figure that out you're ready for fried pork tenderloin. Take a whole pork tenderloin and cut it in about 3" long sections then set them on end and pound 'em down to about 1/4" thick (and thus about 8" diameter) dredge in flour, egg, more flour and fry. I usually put some garlic, cayenne, black pepper in the flour. So good.

@JJ Husker And then after that, try making katsu kare. Same idea, except breaded with panko breadcrumbs and served over rice with a curry sauce.
