Their favorite local coach denies speaking with an agent/handler, phone records prove he lied/grossly mislead his contact, but will take his explanation for face value. Then they pull this from the rumor mill and double down on it. The OWH sports section is near worthless drivel and the drama they manufacture is why I stopped reading them within the past couple years. My dad and brothers were just talking about how SM was a more enjoyable writer prior to joining the OWH, but he’s become a hack. 

What about our very own couple of posters trying to say they knew all about it and saying it was true.....you know, because they had inside info? 

I've always enjoyed irony.
