When this staff was hired, I said thought Chinander was the weak link. He may well be, but I think he needs time to get what players he thinks he needs, to build "his" defense. Someone posted they think Chin should be up in the booth, instead of down on the field, this week. I think maybe it would help him evaluate the players better. Is it just me or did anyone else think we should have been trying to move the ball, instead of trying to get NW to use their time outs. I was used to seeing Frost always pushing forward no matter what the score was, when I watched some of his games at UCF. I guess maybe he has faith in our D that we don't. I do like being ahead and having the other team playing catch up for a change, just to bad it didn't get us the W. We are getting closer and I think next week we get that W. GBR!!!

I learned, i'm hoping for 6 wins next year. GBR!!!

Didn't think they could go 99 yards on us to tie it. We are really weak in the back side of that D. NW receivers catch's it some where near the 7/8 yard line with 5 yes 5 defenders around him at least 4/5 yards off him, doesn't make sense on that tying drive. Oh well there's always next week. I really hate to see him leave. Thought he could get a lot of touches this season. We are going to see some much tougher D's down the road than a Purdue team. Oz is going to need to keep on showing what he did last week, and it's not going to be easy this week. Bell would have gotten some playing time, this week I would think. Best of luck to Bell. Wish he would have toughed it out. GBR!!!

Late hits out of bounds, roughing the passer, pushing another player because he pushed you first,. These have to stop. Is their anyone running the stadium stairs, extra wind sprints. If all their getting is harsh words, why would you care about losing your cool. They lost 3 games because of, most of those penalties. The turn overs can be over come with some smarter play. Each week it looks like they are starting to get it, then a turn over or a penalty kills a drive, and all the wind is taken out of them. D doesn't step up and say we got this, instead they start missing assignments and drawing penalties. Is this on the coaches, or the players ? How do you get their attention ? GBR!!!

Where is Jaylin Bradly? Is he out of the picture for this year. GBR!!!

Good to hear Washington is still with the team. Wow, doesn't take much to get the rumors flying, on this board. lol I think probably the whole team was upset at the way the last game went. Wasn't just the o-line taking a beating. We were just out classed. The 0-line won't be fixed in just two recruiting classes, to where we will be able to hang with the big boy's, in the B1G. They should though, be able to play with the rest of the others now. I'm still not sold on our DC, but willing to give him time as well. I think we have the skill players already, just need to get the pipe line going again. GBR!!!

If anyone knows what it takes to win here, it's Frost. He had front row seats in the 90's. He knows what kind of players he will need. Given time he will weed out the weak links. Stock up on Neb boy's to get the kids from out of state, to understand Husker pride, and to get o-line pipe line going again. If he didn't believe he could do it here, he would have not taken the job. It won't be a 2yr turn around nor will it take 5yrs. GBR!!!

Do any of us really know how bad the knee is. No one has said exactly what is wrong with it. Sprain ?? what part is sprained ? Is there a "slight" tear ? If he is not 100% don't put him out there. This part of the team looked like one of the stronger positions, along with R/B. Now???? GBR!!!

I said before the season that i was worried about D/C. I still am. Gave up a ton of points while at UCF, And still doesn't shut anyone down. Yes the players swarm to the ball on 1st and 2nd downs, but can't seem to stop anybody on 3rd at crunch time. or it's a penalty to keep drive alive. Misdirection plays yesterday was leaving lanes wide open, no one was staying home to play their position. Yeah I know and I'm just like the rest of you, let them get some more reps, and the coaches get their players, in the next couple of yrs. I believe in Frost, he is the right man. I hope he can make the tough moves, if he has to. BC/Coz MR/ B/ Frost/?? GBR!!!
