    Damn straight, stuck on playing guys who know the playbook better vs. playing talented but less knowledgeable guys. This is definitely Pelini-like, e.g. Sean Fisher playing ahead of Lavonte David, until he got hurt and then David became a star.

    The Texas “full hospital” thing was due to the way the hospital system in Houston was reporting. They’ve since corrected it to 100% of their base operational capacity, not total capacity. Although they may get to max level at some time, but it’s worth clarifying in the time being.

    Yes, although I recall Warfield was second string that season. All played in the league with Williams and Minter having longer careers. Loaded as hell, all three levels of the D had NFL caliber players.

    Yes! He was my favorite DB in the mid 90s, big bodied and physical. That late TD he gave up in the national title game was garbage, the Florida receiver was out of bounds when he controlled the ball.

    I always liked Roy as a RB and he’s a nice guy in real life. I went to California earlier this year and he and Dani were on the same legs of the trip. I had a laugh because he was talking to some guy on the plane who was probably 20-25 years old and the guy had no idea who he was. C’mon man!

    Agreed. What registered immediately is that both these guys are from New Jersey. Maybe it’s a coincidence, but it makes me think the fix was more likely. Hell, the Peter brothers are from New Jersey too. It all makes sense now...

    Watching that play, IF McCoy isn’t running for his life from Suh, I think he might have ran more time off the clock, pass goes out of bounds and it’s truly game over. Can’t be mad at Suh for trying to kill a man!

    That ejection of the SC player was garbage. The UT QB had a loose helmet so it looked bad when it came off. If it “looks” or makes a loud noise, those soy refs throw the flag.

    I agree with turning it over to the league offices, notice how #44 Jacob Callier holds on to Martinez's leg (fine, no biggy) but then starts to roll his body over twisting it in the process. Dirty, eff that guy. It reminds me of an incident in the early 2000s against OU, I think it was Rocky Calmus twisting Crouch's or a RB's leg.
