holvy83
even if we do finish out 8-4 or even 9-4 with a bowl win, i doubt we crack the top 25, unless our bowl opponent is ranked but still have a long way to climb. there is nothing wrong with not being ranked, this season is an improvement and that is all i hoped for. Husker_freak774
Even if we had beaten Texas Tech we wouldn't be in the top 25 because they wouldn't be the #2 team in the nation. We really didn't have a chance this year. Quote Link to comment

Touchdown Tommie
It is nice to get some votes, but playing so poorly against MU and most recently OU it will be tough to crack the top 25. I will still be very very happy with 8 or 9 wins. Quote Link to comment
fro daddy
I only know how to find the AP. But I listed the two voters who included NU. Myron Patton KOKH-TV (Television) Oklahoma City, OK Has Nebraska at #25 Mitch Vingle The Charleston Gazette (Newspaper) Charleston, West Virginia Has Nebraska at #24 BTW, as I am sure most of you know, but just in case some do not. The points are 1 point for #25, 25 points for #1 Quote Link to comment
Landlord
We would totally have been top 25 if we beat Texas Tech... Quote Link to comment
shyndy
polls are such bs. used to favor the "power houses" and now because of all the power conferencing that has happened lately, it actually favors all those outside teams. we should just join a crappy conference and enjoy being undefeated and in a bcs game each year... DaveH
polls are such bs. used to favor the "power houses" and now because of all the power conferencing that has happened lately, it actually favors all those outside teams. we should just join a crappy conference and enjoy being undefeated and in a bcs game each year... There are only 6 BCS conferences. It's not like we could go join the Sun Belt and go to the BCS every year... Quote Link to comment
HuskerTrucker
Only one poll really matters...the final BCS Poll. All the others are like a$$holes, everyone has one, some are just better smelling than others, but all of them will eventually stink at one time or another. Quote Link to comment
Stars
I think we win out we will be ranked. If nothing else it's symbolic of our program returning to prominence, and might help in recruiting. Congrats Huskers!! Quote Link to comment
clone
We would totally have been top 25 if we beat Texas Tech... maybe. Beating #3 psu garnered Iowa 8 votes by this week with the same win/loss record as NU. All they can do is win their last game and see what happens. Cracking the top 25 isn't likely. BEAT CU!! Pedro Guerrero
The AP poll means nothing now and there really is no reason to still have it. Quote Link to comment
huzkerbob
If we win out, including the bowl, there is no amount of NU hating that can keep us out of the top 25. We'd have 9 F'n wins!!!!! Quote Link to comment
Ohio Pete
Are these the same polls in which Western Michigan got more votes than Nebraska? That by definition makes them meaningless. Quote Link to comment
