BigWillie
10-4 Didn't know if I had missed something on HI or not. What day did he say this on Sports Nightly, though? Wednesday, Thursday? Quote Link to comment

gamer
BRC, I'm pretty sure Deas has an official left to LSU next weekend. Quote Link to comment
Big Red Cop
So was Sean Callahan wrong in stating that Deas was done with his visits?? If NU was his last visit, I would put him somewhere in the 80% chance to commit to NU. If he still goes to LSU next weekend, that number gets cut in half!! Now Lee is another story, I firmly believe that he commits today!! Quote Link to comment
gamer
I see now. I didnt mess it up. Apparently, one of the mods changed my post. Quote Link to comment
DaveH
Check your PM's gamer. I thought the free scout page had all the visit dates on it, but it is missing the date in question. I should probably drink some coffee before posting..... Deas will visit LSU next weekend. Quote Link to comment
Jarred04
Heard both Lee and Deas liked NU and Lee gave it a 10. Neither committed while here. I don't know, neither seem solid on us yet. Lee said he liked the pac-10 b/c his skills (pass rushing) would be used more. Quote Link to comment
hootin' annie's goatfarm
hello, lee is coming from the juco ranks therefore he must know the importance of chosing a school where he will play the soonest. So, I don't know why ore st would not have the advantage over him, especially since NU is recruiting him to add depth to the dt position, & challenge the others for playing time (& of course he may have a slight chance of beating out cryer - but not a very, great chance of doing so, & starting, like he might at ore st - therefore, I believe that his statement about the passing contrast b/w the pac-10 or B12 is a cop out - especially since, there is not that big of a discrepency b/w the 2 leagues in their abilities or willingness to pass or run - it simply comes down to where he is going to play more (ore st), & who can help him get to the next level the quickest (NU/blake) - in my opinion p.s. deas will be an on-going mystery for quite a while (even after he commits) Quote Link to comment
NamelessHusker
Quite frankly, if we don't sign another recruit in this class and we wrap it up like it is, i still think this class is a solid one. We have some decent depth at QB, RB is loaded for now, DT, DE, LB, WR are all loaded as well. The only thing we REALLY need to stackup on next year is DB's and lots of them, so i expect us to offer every single 5 star and 4 star in the nation next year and practically gurantee them a starting position because quite honestly, they will see a huge amount of playing time as freshman with the depth we have at that position. The other position is 2 solid TE's to go along with Tomerlin and McNeil. DT right now isn't a priority in my opinion so i don't really see Lee and Deas as losses if they dont commit to NU. Hunter94
boy, i agree with that! we need to get going on DB's! hunter Quote Link to comment
texhusker
I still see DT as a need spot call me crazy, but we lose Ola and Cryer next year we will have back suh johnson and possible Seth Jensen if that is the position that he will play. I just see that as a spot where we need another HS kid to come in at. Quote Link to comment
BIGREDFAN_in_OMAHA
I notice on Scout that he has knocked NU down to medium interest after being at high for so long. Quote Link to comment
husker rob
i dont think that Deas is that much of a have to have. with the people we have returning and with Seth Jensen and Brandon Johnson (Juco) coming in I think that we will be ok. Next year will be a big need to get some DT guys in. Quote Link to comment
HSKRNOKC
SJ had surgery and most likely will redshirt next year. FWIW. I think Deas is going to FSU. He will anounce his choice after his trip to LSU this weekend. Quote Link to comment
Hunter94
i am tired of hearting about Deas........either he wants to come and be a Husker or he doesn't........why worry about a guy that looks like he doesn't know what to do? hunter Quote Link to comment
