tattooedhusker
I hate Texa$$...that is all. Quote Link to comment
NPhusker
I think Suh fights through theses holds so easy that its hard for the refs to see them, its like trying to arm tackle Stanford's Toby Gerhart, he just runs right threw it. Quote Link to comment

Alex 4.0
thats the play where Suh just reaches out with one arm and does a clothesline tackle of sorts.... dude is so good. Quote Link to comment

I can picture it now. Suh running back to the sideline, he hands Carl Pelini Colt's trachea and only says one word: "Trophy." Quote Link to comment
Danny Bateman
That play defined Suh's legacy at NU for me. I will never forget how dominant he was, and this is probably the one play that will always come to mind when I think of him. Dude is such a beast, he fends of the 300+ lineman with one arm while ripping McCoy down with the other. He is the Player of the Year in the Big 12. No Offense vs. Defense comparison. He just obliterated it. Quote Link to comment
Danimal
The 12-refs are just absurd, even if you limit the calls to the flat-out flagrant holds you could still call them left and right. Maybe getting out of the con for the bowl we can actually get some holding calls. If 'zona isn't allowed to hold to their heart's contenent like Texas was Foles should be a greasespot. The holding apparently did no good considering Suh had 4.5 sacks and the team as a whole had 8 or 9. Quote Link to comment
HuskerTrucker
They are real liberal with the holding calls everywhere in football. If you called every one you saw you would have a penalty every down. It just sucks to be an defensive lineman. Quote Link to comment

irafreak
The bowl game will be interesting as there should be some calls on arizona however our Oline will probably be flagged every 3rd play. Quote Link to comment
huskerguy
This was the play that both announcers were acting like ass hats and just laughing about it "Wow look how bad hes getting held ahaha" I mean just the way they were laughing about it and never really pointing out yeah he is getting held and just because he can still make a tackle while being held doesn't mean you don't call it. If I remember correctly Herbstreit almost blew his wad on that play. I don't think they were laughing at the fact the holding was happening, they were laughing at the fact that Texas was trying anything and everything to stop Suh and he just dominated them no matter what they did. I will say, I thought Herbsteit was fantastic during that game. A lot of spotlight on our defense and how great a coach and job Pelini is and is doing. He did hammer our offense, but I mean come on, how could he not. Herbsteit at one time said, "If he (Suh) isn't invited to NY for the Heisman Ceremony it is a travesty." I know most of this has to do with the tOSU connection we have going, but still nice to hear from whiney boy. Quote Link to comment
