ShawnWatson
I'm really excited with the changes being made. I think the West addition is going to make the stadium look and feel a lot bigger, not to mention louder. I'm excited to see what the atmosphere is going to be like over there during game day. This going to be a long offseason....As usual. Get your direction game right, bro. Quote Link to comment

bravesfanatic4
Any updated pictures? Quote Link to comment
knapplc
As a matter of fact, I do have some. From maybe ten days ago? Not quite sure on the date. They've probably made a week's progress since then. Above is the completed Baseball/Softball practice facility. Below is the East Stadium project. Quote Link to comment
It'sNotAFakeID
They've made fantastic progress and it looks like even the weather hasn't slowed them down. Quote Link to comment
HuskerMack
Any else think this looks ODD! Quote Link to comment
knapplc
Odd in what way? Quote Link to comment
HuskerinHouston
My Arc buddies (grads from UNL) had the below to say about the beam...take it for what it is worth. I can’t see it up close, but from the picture it looks fine. It is at an angle, but it has a lot of lateral bracing. Plus, I believe that has been up there for years now. Quote Link to comment
HuskerShark
I'm sure they built it like that so it wouldn't run into the track. Nothing to be worried about if that's what you're saying, HuskerMack. They don't hire dummies to build these expansion projects. Quote Link to comment

I see - the angle of that beam. It is angled, and it is funky-looking. I guess I'm just used to it after walking past it for years. It was built that way to accommodate the track, as Shark said. And that beam isn't part of the current expansion project - it's from the 2004 expansion, so it's been used for six or seven years. Quote Link to comment

Hoosker
When did they say it would be completed? Not this season, but the next? I thought I heard 2013, but I can never remember. Quote Link to comment

Sorry, still butthurt on the North stadium fiasco. Quote Link to comment
