BIG ERN
Lambert said he knows where he's going and went to the Insight Bowl which was the same day as the Rutgers game. Almost a lock to go to Iowa, especially with his former high school teammates there. I hope I'm wrong, but seems like he's a Hawkeye. Quote Link to comment
BIG ERN
Or is he also going to our bowl game? Haven't heard any word if he was Quote Link to comment

So watching a game means he's an automatic lock to go to a school? I mean, if that were the case, he'd probably have to commit to every school he officially visited and watched a game at... Didn't mean for it to seem like it was all about him going to the bowl game, but he's had Iowa a slight favorite all year IMO, and in the interview he talked about his former teammates that now play at Iowa. We can still land him, but sounds like he's Iowa's to lose. Quote Link to comment

It wasn't just because Lambert decided to go watch Iowa in their bowl game. Quote Link to comment
Treand3
I'll laugh if he goes to Iowa, it will be a cynical one. Another thing to consider is who Iowa was playing... Quote Link to comment
MLB 51
My guess is he's N. Quote Link to comment
BIG ERN
I'll just say I want this kid bad. I just see Iowa having an edge. We have 3 LB commits, 2 being ILB (Rose being an ESPN top 150 player). Quote Link to comment

Just a pretty good coincidence that Iowa and Oklahoma for that matter, were playing in it. Quote Link to comment

Yes, I didn't read into it before I posted, but even beyond the bowl game visit I thought Iowa has led the whole time with us in a very close second. Quote Link to comment

MLB 51
4 linebackers in this class would be nice. But isn't Afalava still a long shot to qualify. Quote Link to comment

If he qualifies good, if not then we at least have 3 that we desperately need. Quote Link to comment
PaulCrewe
He said in an interview at the Semper Fi Bowl he will announce a couple days after returning home from the game, looks like Thursday or Friday. Like that attitude of not needing the bright lights and TV, but rather would announce among his teammates and family back home. This kid has always been level headed. Quote Link to comment
chamrocck
QL is at my top recruiting need right now. Either a monster LB or could this guy line up off the edge and just crush the QB (this is my top recruiting need...see opponent QB, be first there, don't miss, and crush opponent QB into ground). That is Blackshirt Football. Quote Link to comment
