irafreak
but what I saw of the Okl pass rush, I don't think Cody would have stood a chance in there. Bo and Watson must have thought that also, or we would have maybe seen him some. I think Cody's grandma would have stood a chance there on some of those sacks Taylor took. Slight exaggeration but I'd be surprised if Cody took sacks with all kinds of time like Taylor did. Then, maybe he throws some picks or fumbles so you never know. He had time on a few plays and made boneheaded plays by not throwing the ball away. But for the most part the o-line was getting torched all night. Let's be honest with ourselves here. Correction. The oline was getting torched EXCEPT when we ran the wildcat. Funny how a run blocking oline can succeed with a running game plan. So if enough heat is on watson does he take the vandy job? 1 Quote Link to comment

Thank you for posting this. I hope he knocks 'em dead in the interview. Quote Link to comment

I started a topic/thread yesterday "O-line must play great" and it only got two replys. Seems kind or ironic now..... 1 Quote Link to comment

I wanted to see them in the "I" formation with Helu and Burhead behind Martinez. Hit em' quick or mis-direction. The zone read was taking way too long to develop with Martinez at less than 100%. husker_hurdler
So if enough heat is on watson does he take the vandy job? I would take a strong hard look at it. You're coaching in the SEC, people don't expect much at Vandy-maybe you go to a bowl game every now and than, and I would guess there would be a pay raise for being a Head Coach. REDSTEEL
Well hopefully he shows highlights of all his scores this year. Would be a great Compilation of Alex Henery. Hope he even sneaks in the scores the defense had maybe since it's Vanderbilt they might not notice. Quote Link to comment

I am I
I hope he has the interview of a lifetime. which means they wouldn't ask him any questions about maximizing talent on offense. Quote Link to comment
Karawithasmile
Any concerns that Watson leaves and takes some of those shiny new QB prospects (or other prospects for that matter) with him??? Quote Link to comment
Hujan
Any concerns that Watson leaves and takes some of those shiny new QB prospects (or other prospects for that matter) with him??? No. After last night, I think there's a greater chance that our recruits will have second thoughts if Watson stays. Quote Link to comment
