BaytownHusker
Anyone heard any thing on what he is doing? I have a friend at work and keeps saying they have him projected to go in the 30's as a draft pick? Is he staying or going? I really dont want to lose him, he is becoming one of my fav Huskers on this team and my son Loves him.. Quote Link to comment
ADS
Has not said anything yet, but it would be a wise decision for him to stay one more year under the Pelini Brothers, it did wonders for Suh and Prince. Quote Link to comment
knapplc
Last I heard Crick put his name in for an evaluation on his draft potential. He hasn't committed to returning yet. We'll have to wait and see. Quote Link to comment
walksalone
I have to think that he will be playing on Sunday. I'm not sure when or if he'll get drafted. But there's some NFL D coordinator that could put him to good use. Quote Link to comment
kchusker_chris
He had such a quiet season. So many of the questions like "can he do it without Suh at his side?" went unanswered. 70 tackles, 17 TFLs, 9.5 sacks. Very solid season - but when you look at the fact that David had 152 tackles and Gomes had 99 it makes you realize how many runners were getting past the line of scrimage. Quote Link to comment
UM-HUSKER
Thats the job of the Dline, to keep the Oline off of the Lbers. Your Lbers should be your leading tacklers on the team. Quote Link to comment

Hammerhead
Thats the job of the Dline, to keep the Oline off of the Lbers. Your Lbers should be your leading tacklers on the team. That's a good point. Suh was the reason why the D line could successfully get in the other teams' backfields, because he allowed the Pelini bros. to scheme for that. With Suh gone, the line was set up more for containment and to match up with the offensive line so that the linebackers could make tackles. Quote Link to comment
NUance
I have serious doubts that Crick would go in the 1st round. He would be better off if he stayed is sr year (barring a possibly injury). The extra year would improve his draft stock a lot. Quote Link to comment

By nature LBs and DBs are going to lead teams in tackles. On the list of tackle leaders nationwide the first D-Lineman doesn't show on the list until 96th with 94 tackles. I see that he had 14.5 TFLs. His numbers don't appear too far off the elite D-Linemen. http://www.cfbstats.com/2010/national/index.html Quote Link to comment
