@walksalone

I'm not sure, but he might be graduating high school in May. Don't take my word for it, though.

Roger that, thank you sir. (another reason you guys are the sh*t)

So, with the whole Heard debacle, is the thought of Green redshirting going out the window?

I'm waiting this out, either cause I don't want to believe it or because I'm not sure how credible the source is

He didn't make it. He missed it by one point. He aint coming, trust me.

that poor kid.......

I think it's complete BS! The kid works his ass off only to be told by some blowhard from the Clearinghouse, "sorry Mr Heard but you are one point shy of meeting our criteria cut off". I'm disgusted!

Don't blame someone else for enforcing very clear rules.

Can he keep re-taking it and be here by fall camp? If so, not a HUGE deal. Yes, he misses spring ball and that would've helped, but let's get him here by Summer.

He will have to work his tail off. The next three test dates are Feb, Apr, and June. He obviously won't make it in time for spring ball, but he can still be here in the fall. I think he will be here come time for fall ball. Damn kid reminds me of Rudy trying to get into Notre Dame!

I think he will be here by fall also.

Call me a bad guy, but I really don't feel bad for Braylon. The ACT is really not that hard. I got a 28 on my first try and I literally (yes, I mean literally) did not study at all for it. If you can't meet the university's academic standards, that's not their fault and he shouldn't be treated any different just because he plays football.

Can you play running back?

You suck! It took me 6 times to get a 28!

Every person has different capabilities. An easy task for one may be difficult for another.

Braylon would say, “I heard that guy NebraskaDrumline ran a 4.9 forty and didn’t even get one football scholarship offer. I don’t feel sorry for him. I ran a 4.5 forty when I was a freshman, wearing basketball sneakers.”

You are not a bad guy and Thank you. If he really worked his ass off like others are alleging he'd have no trouble getting the scores he needed. He had a whole extra year. Let's keep the student in student athlete.

You are correct Nuance, except this is college. The school part is supposed to come first.

I can't imagine that getting an 18 would be that difficult. Qualifying for the J.D. Edwards program at UNL, on the other hand...

With regard to Braylon's eligibility: yeah, a source would be nice. All the articles I've seen that mention that he may be academically ineligible are from June/July of 2010. The newest article I've found that mentions it is from just after Christmas, and according to that article, he is academically eligible.
