Looks like Uncle Ron's is going to be closed for a little while. Probably similar to the situation when Niles Paul was caught drinking in Main Street. It was closed for ten days, or something like that. Quote Link to comment

Coqui
On the positive, at least it wasn't theft or drugs. It was just what most college kids do in the first place. Quote Link to comment
bball_backer
In his defense, Uncle Ron's was definitely the place to be Saturday, all the cowboys headed that way after the rodeo and there were some VERY attractive ladies ready to head home with anyone in a cowboy hat and boots... I'm guessing it was an easy score for a football player. Not condoning drinking and driving, just sayin I understand why he was there... Quote Link to comment
Overland Park Husker
Seriously, how hard is it to a call a taxi in Lincoln? Don't they offer a "safe ride" that lasts from Friday - Monday and is free like they do in some other college towns? Quote Link to comment

It was closed for ten days, or something like that. That is absolutely not true by the way. Quote Link to comment

UGAHusker
On the positive, at least it wasn't theft or drugs. It was just what most college kids do in the first place. Most college kids drink. Much less than most drink and drive. Really are no positives in this case. Quote Link to comment

Almost every person I knew in college (which was not long ago) was guilty of drinking and driving at least a couple times. It's just that 99% don't get caught. I think you'd be amazed if you knew how many kids drink and drive in Lincoln every night. Quote Link to comment
