iowahusker09
I actually think the Farmageddon nickname is going to catch and become a very, very widespread term used by fans and commentators/writers/etc. unofficially. It seems like it's been sticking so far. I think you're probably right... Of course, that means we're going to have to pry it away from one of the greatest rivalries college football has ever seen... The REAL Farmageddon Rivalry Quote Link to comment
funhusker
How 'bout: "Another Ugly Pothole In the Road Towards Nebraska's B10 Championship" That's exactly what it is anyway. Quote Link to comment
Fuzzy
The Mighty Mo Rivalry? or The Big Muddy Rivalry? All of those are nicknames of the Missouri River, so just thought i would throw that in the mix. I have heard some Hawkeye fans are wanting to call it the "Corn Bowl Rivalry" Quote Link to comment
huskered17
The Corncussion Game GBR!!! Quote Link to comment
huskernumerouno
BLACK FRIDAY BOWL as it will be the only bowl Iowa gets to go too. Quote Link to comment
NUance
Corn-Hawk I *was* gonna say Farmageddon. But Corn-hawk is better. The Corn-Hawk trophy. Yeah, I likes it! Quote Link to comment

The REAL Farmageddon Rivalry Nice find Hercules! That actually makes a lot of sense considering they're both AG schools...I am shocked I hadn't heard it on ESPN though. Never heard of it because nobody cares. Quote Link to comment
HuskerMack
Black Friday Brawl sounds way better then Farmageddon. Quote Link to comment

GSG
Before the SEC expanded, Alabama and Tennessee always plays on the "Third Saturday in October." So why don't we just call it the "Day After Thanksgiving" or something simple instead of something corn-y Quote Link to comment
Forge
Corn Bowl seems ot be gaining traction with most the people i talk to. (kinda like the Iron Bowl) Quote Link to comment
iahusker13
I think the only issue with making reference to the day is that it could change pretty easily. Right now, we're only playing Iowa on "Black Friday" in 2011 and 2012. Quote Link to comment
mitch7
I think we have to play each other a few times before an "official" rivalry name is pinned to it. For now, I like Farmageddon and Fuzzy's suggestions. Quote Link to comment
RazzinGTO
Black Friday Brawl sounds way better then Farmageddon. I like this one or The Big Muddy Brawl. Quote Link to comment
