General Blackshirt
Black seems like the only option in my opinion. I'm planning on being there and I'm thinking black would be sweet! This just might be my favorite post of all time. The only thing that's missing is a z and a few extra !!'s. Quote Link to comment
husker rob
Do not have that luxury. Will have to have tickets prior to departing for the game. My guess is if they are 250.00 now, by September they will be over 500.00 and if both are undefeated, even more. I just do not see us getting that many fans in the game. Most likely will buy the tickets tonight. Bob, Are you coming up to Wisconsin for the NU game? Are you bringing your camper and going to tailgate? I live in Tomah WI (about 90 miles from Madison)and depending on the direction you come into WI, you will drive right by the house. Rob Quote Link to comment
knapplc
How about we just make a hell of a lot of noise? We can't do anything about the fact that Barry Alvarez tried to turn Wiscy into the Big Red of the Big Ten, but now that the real Big Red is on the scene, we'll just have to be louder than their fans in their own house. Kinda like we did every other year in Manhattan, Lawrence, Ames, Boulder, etc. We dominated those stadiums for years. The problem is you mentioned the bottom dwellers in terms of football and their interest for your examples. Wisconsin doesn't fit that category. Now had you done that at Austin, then you'd have something. Fans of teams suffering blowout losses don't tend to make a lot of noise, that's the point. Doesn't matter if it's in the doormat stadiums or here in Lincoln. Circa 2007 when Oklahoma State was trouncing our collective ass the Husker Fans in attendance were being out-shouted by the Cowboys fans. It can happen anywhere, even in Camp Randall. Creed
So what effect does Nebraska's leaving have on the attendance at Mizz, KU, KSU, ISU? I foresee a lot of games at these schools with stands 60-70% full that would otherwise being filled with Nebraska fans. Are KU fans going to turn out in Oct-Nov to see more Baylor or Texas Tech match-ups? Quote Link to comment

Hujan
Oh, and for the record, I think the choice is obvious: We should wear black to this game. Quote Link to comment

And TB is not cool. Quote Link to comment
