JoeHuskers!
agreed, wished he could have seen more action last week and even some this week, but what can ya do? Quote Link to comment
Calla
It's nothing. If it is something, it's minor. If it was serious, he would've been taken out for the last series. And, he wasn't. Taylor and many other Huskers played with the flu today. Really? They had the flu? I hadn't heard that. Quote Link to comment
The Dude
Watching the replay it does look like he and Bo looked down at something, and he did hand off with his left hand for the rest of the game. He was, however, taking snaps both from under center and in the shotgun without issue. So I'd venture to guess it's nothing major. Quote Link to comment

Taylor looked a bit ill and was sniffling a lot Quote Link to comment

Count 'Bility
Why would anyone be panicked? A lot would finally get what they want. The second coming of Matt Turman, or Frankie London, or Joe Daily, Cody Green. On and On and On. A new experience freshman could come in and lead us to the promised land. Quote Link to comment

Guy Chamberlin
Bo Pelini sent Martinez back into games last season when the guy could barely walk. I don't think the Northwestern game will be a great time to tinker around with supporting players in a tune-up for Michigan. I think we'll have to stay at the top of our game just to win. True2tRA
Good catch on this one. I didn't even notice that til' watching the DVR and looking for it. Exactly right though, he did hand off lefty. Caputo and Hardrick were a bit dinged up in the game too. Any words on that? Quote Link to comment
TheCheshireCat
Look at it this way - his throwing can't get any worse. Quote Link to comment

Cornicator
Gosh... I hope this doesn't hurt our passing game. Quote Link to comment
TheCheshireCat
Look at it this way - his throwing can't get any worse. Ouch. But funny. And true. Don't get me wrong. There is a lot I admire about Martinez, and I believe he has a skill set not a lot of quarterbacks have, but his throwing motion is just awful. I really wish he could throw a better ball - quicker and more fluid - because with the receivers we have this year, it would open a whole new level in our offense. Quote Link to comment

He has a lot of great qualities, and I'm glad he's our QB most of the time, but yeah - throwing motion, decision-making, etc. is all not where I wish it would be. With these WRs, you just hope we're not wasting that aspect of our game. But he is what he is. Like you said, I admire a lot about him. Quote Link to comment
Jason Sitoke
Well...after that final Burkhead TD....he went up to coach Bo and Bo looked concern...BUT...I don't think it is that serious. Well that's a relief. And I'm sure you have solid evidence, so I won't ask you why you believe that. Quote Link to comment
