Nebula
I love it. Uniform thread up to 8 pages and counting. Over/under 15. I'm taking the overs. Quote Link to comment
knapplc
It'll be over 20, easy, by the time we get to the game we wear the alts in. Then there'll be another 10 pages critiquing the unis we actually wore, bemoaning the fact that we didn't wear "THIS ALTERNATE" and hoping that we do this again every year - with a fair amount of analysis of tradition and discussions of blue-hairs thrown in. Landlord
Thread title changed to seemingly be more appropriate for the dramatic gravity of such a topic. Quote Link to comment

corncraze
Really liked the one with the helmet as a skull concept. I realize the photo below is for hockey and I don't like it entirely, but it's just to put the idea in everyone's heads. What if we honored the blackshirts with a jazzed up helmet with a skeleton concept (it wouldn't need to be this color, it could even be black). What do you think? Quote Link to comment
The Duke
Check out these helmets. There are over 40 Nebraska helmet designs. http://www.flickr.co...tos/fourteen85/ I would actually be ok with these type of helmets. I like how it subtly incorporates the stripes on our pants and uses those with the helmet. It still looks traditional, but with a slight updated look. http://www.flickr.co.../in/photostream Quote Link to comment
NebraskaShellback
Here is a great picture that documents how our uniforms have changed over the decades. This is a very cool picture. How fun would those 1902 uniforms be?? lol I would like to see colors of red, white and blue myself. 1902 is a good example you give Quote Link to comment

This may be very close to what you were thinking? Although the skull rotated like it is in the helmet, right? Courtesy: Bohacekarts Flickr He's got quite a few images of airbrushed helmets he has produced. Quote Link to comment
