BIGREDIOWAN
I have a feeling that's going to be the end of his season................ Quote Link to comment
Woody Tressel
Oh no, I hope Burkhead will be okay. Quote Link to comment
jamrinelli
I am glad we are deep at RB.... But Burkhead being down is not good Quote Link to comment
irafreak
Sigh....I don't know what to say. You always hate to see a senior go down like that...especially the most important senior on our team. Rex deserved to have a complete senior season. Quote Link to comment
VectorVictor
Rex has played too much to get a Medical Redshirt, yes? Quote Link to comment
nuhuskeralum
the sad thing is I thought we were one play from delivering a knock out punch. Breading news- BO was terse! what? Quote Link to comment
strigori
Every time something good happens this game, something bad follows. Great run, and now Rex is down. And it doesn't look good if its the same knee he hurt earlier this year. Quote Link to comment
AFhusker
Oh sh#t, Burkhead re-hurt his knee....that may be the season for him....I certainly hope not. Let's finish this drive and see if the Defense will decide not to take the second half off as they did the 2nd qtr. Quote Link to comment
MichiganDad3
Really? This game isn't over......defense is playing OK...Martinez staring down receivers....it ain't over boys...Ohio state is in a dog fight and we are Nebraska!! Really? They played great in the first qtr.....pathetic in the 2nd...overall a 35 point half is not OK. We haven't been Nebraska since Tom retired from coaching....sad but true. FLU, is that you?? Has anyone seen him today? Most of us are handling Flu's comments for him today. Quote Link to comment
kid nickels
The truth is, we ARE irrelevant right now. We are barely a top-20 team with no signs of that changing anytime soon. I hate to say it, but it's true. NEbraska is not irrelevant.... You can say we're not very good, but we are relevant.... In what way? We certainly aren't relevant in the national title picture, and that's all that matters. We haven't been relevant in over a decade. And it looks like nothing with change this year either. People who say we are 'relevant' are in denial. You're right -- we haven't been relevant in over a decade. Quote Link to comment

irafreak
That was a nasty injury he might have broke his leg!! I doubt it. More likely a torn ACL. Quote Link to comment
NUance
How many games can a player play before a medical redshirt is out of the question? Ha ha! About four games ago I think. Quote Link to comment
