broganreynik
Looks like a mistrial was declared and the charges thrown out. http://www.si.com/college-football/2015/06/23/vanderbilt-football-rape-case-mistrial?xid=si_social Quote Link to comment
QMany
The guilty verdict was thrown out, not the charges. The attorneys argued that a mistrial should be declared and the verdicts thrown out because the foreman of the 12-person jury did not disclose that he was the victim in a statutory rape case 15 years ago. zoogs
Consent, guys. Not a hard concept. Well, apparently it is. What an awful thing. I think this is my first time reading about this case. Quote Link to comment

Lot of people in recruiting were pretty upset he didn't come here (evidenced by 5 pages of thread). Thank God. 1 Quote Link to comment
zoogs
I know, right? I'm happy Nebraska dodged a bullet. But someone else, unfortunately, did not. Ugh. Quote Link to comment
