MLB 51
Transferred to UNK. Good luck Bronson. Quote Link to comment
kchusker_chris
and another scholly opens up. we'll be lucky to go into next season w/ 80 on the roster. being a walk-on is looking pretty dang good during the Pelini era...not sure that is good for Nebraska football though, since the reason for all the open scholly's are transfers and recruiting misses. dylan
If my math is right, we're at 78 for next season as it stands. I'm guessing we get more than two additional commitments in the next month. It's a shame it didn't work out for this kid, but I'm guessing he wants a shot at playing QB at a lower level rather than fighting for a safety spot here. Best wishes to him. 2 Quote Link to comment

Next season he would be the 4th string QB with almost no chance of seeing PT. Or move to safety as you mentioned. Good luck to him. Quote Link to comment
ObamaRocks91
Just to clarify and see if I recall correctly, he was a greyshirt coming out of HS, so he did count against the scholarship numbers this year, correct? Quote Link to comment
HuskerNationNick
Best of luck to Marsh. With the recruits and talent at QB we are getting, it would have been next to impossible for him to get a 2nd string, let alone a starting position. He has the talent to be successful in a smaller division. Quote Link to comment
Count 'Bility
So Marsh was NOT a walk-on? Who's was the D-2 Recruit that walked-on? *EDIt* Ryker Fife (sp?) from GI. Just came to me. Quote Link to comment
Drutopian
As a student at UNK, and seeing how horrible our QB situation was in K town, I'm all for this! Quote Link to comment

NUance
So Bronson Marsh, the kid with no first name, is going to play for the coach with no last name, Darrell Morris. Nice! 2 Quote Link to comment
Fuzzy
The only reason Bronson Marsh moved from safety to QB was because Cody Green was transferring and Bubba Starling decided to pick baseball over football, leaving us last year with the uncertainty of who would be the #2 behind Taylor Martinez. Ron K was just a signal caller, Brion Carnes was just coming on campus, and Taylor was coming off the severe ankle injury. Obviously our QB situation has greatly improved this year, so yes either Marsh was gonna move back to safety or transfer somewhere else to play QB. Quote Link to comment

gobiggergoredder
Marsh has skills. No question that UNK will be better. I always saw Marsh making noise at a school like Northwest Missouri State. MIAA is a tough conference. Good luck man. Quote Link to comment
