PaulCrewe
This kid will be a big deal this fall. Quote Link to comment
EZ-E
Really liking his film. He fits the bill at safety but he's also very physical in coverage. Big pick up. Quote Link to comment
RedRedJarvisRedwine
Really seems to read plays well. He always looks to be drifting where the play is going before it gets there. Makes up for that Staffordesque 40 time. Quote Link to comment
irieboy8
good get.... i love how we keep getting on guys early and make some steals... dont like the fact that every year we do find some of these guys early only to lose them.. i know its gonna happen... hope JH isnt one of them welcome Jason!!! His coaches said, with a stopwatch, they have timed him as low as 4.38 sec. Either way, his films look show he knows how to put himself in position to be disruptive or make a tackle. Thanks_Tom RR
His DB coach is former Mississippi State DB, Clay Mack, is really high on this kid. Compared him to Prince Amukamara (tall order, for sure). Quote Link to comment
girlknowsfootball
Will he be a better CB or S at the next level? We have a good number of Safety talent coming in (LeRoy Alexander, Nathan Gerry, Drake Martinez, Luke Gifford) We're really needing some CB's at this point with Boaz Joseph being the only guy from last year and Charles Jackson being the only one from the year before. Interview covering his decision to be http://nebraska.riva...asp?CID=1504053 Nebraska likes him at corner, nickel, and quarter. He wants to come up for BRW. Quote Link to comment
iowahuskers
This kid looks good. big tall and long what Bo seems to like. Hope we can keep him Quote Link to comment

Agree. We need corners. Having said that Bo seems to like cb's that have a lot of safety type attributes. That must be because they play match up zones moreso than straight man lock down coverage? dylan
I would say he values size at corner because of his preference for jamming receivers at the line and knocking them off their routes. They also seem big on hand checking down the field. This physical style is easier with bigger guys. Even dennard, who wasn't that tall, was well built. Mitchell seems to be the big exception, but he has better quickness and ball skills than most. Another benefit to recruiting bigger corners is roster flexibility in that they can move to peso or safety. Quote Link to comment
