gobiggergoredder
This dude gets stuck at 48th and cornhusker. He crawls out the window and on the roof. The water is about a foot deep and not moving. This pictures is classic. It's like he is waiting for a chopper to air lift him to safety. Quote Link to comment
NUance
Maybe he's trying to use that soccer-mom van as a surf board. Either way, what an idiot. Quote Link to comment
knapplc
That stretch of road is about 20 years overdue for a revamp. It's stupid that they haven't widened 48th from Adams to Superior yet. Quote Link to comment

ZRod
Some what in his defense, it does get about 2 or more feet deeper towards the bridge. Quote Link to comment
tschu
Come on guys, those look like some really expensive Walmart sneakers. Don't wanna get those babies wet. Quote Link to comment
zoogs
How long was he up there? Maybe he was trying to decide if he could make a jump from the roof. I wouldn't want to ruin sneakers either if I could help it, even if they were from Walmart. From up there he can toss his sneakers to shore easily. And unless he's in a rush -- which I imagine he isn't, given his car isn't going anywhere - why not take some time to observe a pretty wacky situation. Quote Link to comment
T_O_Bull
The village idiot with out his dunce cap. Quote Link to comment
HeyBurke
That road is so terrible. Too much traffic and too few lanes. Quote Link to comment
jsneb83
Did he really think he could drive through there? Quote Link to comment
ZRod
Did he really think he could drive through there? I'm pretty sure there's a light there too, with a sign next to it that reads "road impassable when flashing" that's for just such an occasion? It really is a pos road, it needed resurfacing 2 years ago. Cornhusker around the 14th street overpass is another terrible spot for flash flooding. I remember going to work at 4am in a storm and I basically had half a lane of road to drive on in the dark. Quote Link to comment
walksalone
it amazes me how often people operate, with their heads planted fimrly in their asses... Quote Link to comment
