MLB 51
does any one see any one getting injured during spring pratice Did you mean fall camp? Quote Link to comment
tmfr15
We sure will hope for the best news possible on the injury front this fall, and next spring for that matter. No one likes to see players go down during camp. Quote Link to comment
huskerenner
Hopefully we have an injury free fall practice. Some positions are thinner than others.Need to keep the d-line and linebackers from further loss. Quote Link to comment
knapplc
I see three injuries happening during Fall Camp: On Friday (8/9/13) Redshirt Freshman DE Ross Dzuris will roll his ankle and be held out of the rest of practice. He'll have to sit out at least the next practice but will return sometime the week of 9/12/13. On August 13th one of our starting Offensive Linemen (don't want to say name or position because of bad karma) will suffer a knee injury. He'll miss the first four games and will be limited until October, when he'll resume full duties before the Purdue game. On August 21st during the evening practice a Wide Receiver will go down with another injury to an already-injured limb in a non-contact drill and will be lost for the season. It's pretty crummy, but this can be an unforgiving sport. I suppose the only other "injury" will be the constantly hurt pride suffered by our defense as they routinely get torched by the offense. 2 Quote Link to comment
carlfense
The media will inform us that our defense looks "much faster and more athletic." We will hear that "they are ready to hit someone from another team for a change." It will be reported that the offensive linemen are "leaner and more athletic than in the past." Some random player will go Husker-viral regarding a workout story, à la Imani Cross' pull ups. Stories will run about the increased focus on ball security, particularly Martinez and Abdullah. (And 0-1 of these will actually look relevant during the season.) Quote Link to comment
In the Deed the Glory
I am a little too superstitious to post an injury guess even as a joke! Quote Link to comment

Danimal
Should have some good position battles going on d-line, OT, safety, and back-up rb. Hopefully the it's more than lip-service and they're really focusing on getting this inexperienced D up to speed, doing more good-on-good and tackling work than before. Quote Link to comment
The Dude
Bo will mention we're (still, 6 years later) a long ways away from a finished product. Quote Link to comment

jimk
They are doing some good things out there but there is a lot to work on. We are a long ways from a finished product. Its about the process. Quote Link to comment
Creighton Duke
Bo will be VERY happy on day one and then get pissed off about practice somewhere between days 3-5 Quote Link to comment

This puts me at ease, thanks Knapp. Quote Link to comment
