I think most of us understand the recruiting aspect of the idea. And if it was Tom Osborne's idea, it would fly. The students have tried for a B****** every year for at least 6 years now. It's unoriginal. I suspect the students are young enough that they think this is either a new idea or hasn't been done at NU. Maybe the uniforms being mostly black is what caused it this year - but not even a majority of the fanbase likes the uniform change from what I've seen. Let it go. Quote Link to comment

This inane idea was bandied about my frigging freshman year at Nebraska. And I'm willing to guarantee that incantation wasn't the first time someone dreamed it up. Quote Link to comment
