craigsker
Great win no doubt, but I gotta rant. Giving up the shutout pissed me off. Did anyone want the shutout as much as I did? 1 Quote Link to comment
HuskerfaninOkieland
I wanted the shutout but I'm not pissed Purdue scored Quote Link to comment
HuskerShark
I'm not surprised that you're whining about it. 3 Quote Link to comment
Haspula
Still gave up less pts than wiscon. We should of had our best secondary defenders on the field to prevent that play Looking at this game, the secondary rarely gets injured so its not a bad risk Quote Link to comment
knapplc
I'm pissed because of how they got the TD. There is no logical reason to pooch kick that last kickoff when you've been pinning them inside the 20 on every other kickoff. 4 Quote Link to comment
Ratt Mhule
No. A win is a win Quote Link to comment

There is no logical reason to pooch kick that last kickoff when you've been pinning them inside the 20 on every other kickoff. This is why the shutout was lost. And it is comical one would let losing a shutout with this YOUNG defense piss you off. For once people enjoy the moment. A lot more maturing and coming of age was shown today, albeit against a really bad team. Baby steps. Been preaching it Quote Link to comment
knapplc
"Pissed" is probably too strong a word to use. Knew that would get the focus as soon as I hit submit. I'm annoyed that the coaches do things like this. I think that's a pretty normal thing to be annoyed about. Quote Link to comment

The pissed comment was concerning the OP and all the others that are out there that feel the same for various petty reasons. Not directed at you Knapp, as I was dumbfounded by the choice to pooch as well Quote Link to comment
Stumpy1
I have a feeling it was on purpose to see if the young D can preserve it. Maybe Bo wanted to see if they had that killer instinct. Quote Link to comment
NUance
Pissed about blowing the shutout? I'm just glad THIS is the sort of thing people are pissed about after the game ends. For a change. And for the record, when we win by 4+ TDs I really couldn't care less whether or not we pitch a shutout. Quote Link to comment
Danimal
Annoyed because the starters really earned that shutout. 1 Quote Link to comment
Fuzzy
I wanted the shutout, disappointed we didn't get it, but I'm not pissed off enough to rant about it. I believe it was Jonathon Rose on the coverage. Purdue played a great game, and they fought hard. Quote Link to comment
