Who would have thought the offensive line would be playing so well?

wonder where we are rated on strength of schedule?

looked it up....99th out of 126......weak brother, weak.

Science fact: 99th ranked strength of schedule doesn't particularly pay attention to the quality of the defenses that we have played. It speaks nothing to our offensive line's ability to prevent our quarterback from hitting the ground. Also, the way they rank the SOS in that link is dumb. They're basically saying that an Auburn team who is 5-1 but has only played pud schools (aside from LSU whom they lost to) is tougher than a Wisconsin team who is 4-2 with both losses coming in close games on the road to Arizona State (which they should've won) and Ohio State who is #4

You're a broken record.

while the disciplined play of our OL has improved, the schedule this year is easier than last season...and now we have lost Spencer Long for the rest of the season....knee.

Then we are doing exactly what we should to inferior competition and there has been a clear cut difference in level of play between our OL and opposing teams' DL. Credit needs to be given to the young men involved and the coaches and that is all there is to it.

The OL has done an outstanding job so far this season. What impresses me most is the reduction in stupid penalties. Really the offense as a whole has done exceptionally well. The only limiting factor to our O seems to be play calling at times. I think we can live with that. Let's hope they keep it rolling with the loss of Spencer and some tougher teams coming up.
