huskerfan92
On NFL.com they're saying it's down to him and Josh McDaniels. You guys think the Ohio native can save the Browns? Quote Link to comment
tmfr15
Bob takes the job. Mark Stoops becomes the new HC at Oklahoma. Bo joins Bob to be the Cleveland DC and Jim T gets back into coaching as the OC. Quote Link to comment
huskerfan92
That leaves a Husker job in need of being saved.... 2 Quote Link to comment
MLB 51
Bob takes the job. Mark Stoops becomes the new HC at Oklahoma. Bo joins Bob to be the Cleveland DC and Jim T gets back into coaching as the OC. Why would Bob take Bo and not his own brother Mike? Quote Link to comment
tmfr15
Maybe Mike would end up as the Oklahoma HC. I honestly can't remember where Mark is at the moment. It would not be COMPLETELY unthinkable for Bob to call on Bo to help him with the pro team in OHIO. And it would not be COMPLETELY unthinkable for Jim to leave his teaching post, or whatever the hell that is, to coach again. Far Fetched though.... you bet. Am I throwing the idea out there just for grins... you bet. Quote Link to comment
tmfr15
Nebraska would have to do the only logical thing....buy out whatever contract Wyoming gave to Craig Bohl in the hopes that by mere association with the Cowboys combined with his winning tradition of three straight titles at NDSU would summon forth the Bob Devaney mojo. Vizsla1
Are there DC making over $3 million in the NFL? I do not know of any man that could save the Browns. Quote Link to comment
strigori
Nothing can save the Browns as long as their front office as as stupid and dysfunctional as they have proven to be. A smart guy stays away from there. Quote Link to comment

NUinID
Bob Stoops isn't going anywhere. He is back to being big game bob after beating Alabama. He has it way to good at OU. Quote Link to comment

If he took the Browns job, it would be the dumbest mistake of his career. Who would want to work for a team that fires a coach every 1-2 years? Quote Link to comment

He's in his mid-50s, with the only remaining challenge in his career being the NFL. He might view the move differently I guess. I could see it. Quote Link to comment
