Junior
Nick Bahe @NickBahe 11m In Nebraska's 8 conference wins they average 26.8 Free Throw Attempts per game. In the Huskers 7 losses they average 12.5 FTA per game. That about sums it up. They settled for a lot of jumpers and threes last night. Need to take it hard to the rack They did some. Fouls just weren't being called last night. They would call ticky tack stuff, but not real fouls on drives. Quote Link to comment
BigRedBuster
Most games, we start off throwing up threes. Once those start going down, we start driving to the basket and getting it in to smith. The problem last night was our jump shots from the outside were so far off Illinois didn't even need to hardly guard our shooters. Heck, when you're throwing up threes and they don't even hit the rim, there isn't much need to defend them. This allowed them to drop back and prevent drives to the basket. We got some drives but even they weren't going in. It was just a sucky night all the way around for shooting. I can't remember a game where absolutely everyone on the team went cold like that before. Also...our rebounding especially in the first half really really REALLY sucked. Quote Link to comment
NUinID
It just wasn't a good shooting night. I figured NU would drop one of the remaining road games left, I was figuring it would be Indiana though. Need to win out to really end on a high note. Quote Link to comment
SouthLincoln Husker
We just need to see how it goes this next week. Anyone in the league can win. We stomped Purdue and they came back & almost beat Michigan. We need to take care of business. Quote Link to comment

Minnesota_husker
Pretty simple.. We are very dangerous when Shavon attacks the rim. Terran can do both, but we need guys who attack the rim so it allows our guys to get clean shots. We didnt attack the hoop and that is why we failed. Quote Link to comment

Mavric
Dan Hoppen @danhoppen 19m Indiana's Noah Vonleh is in a walking boot today... if he can't go Wednesday, Nebraska's chances of winning increase. Vonleh is IU's second-leading scorer (11.6) and by far their leading rebounder (9.1) and shot blocker (1.3). Quote Link to comment
