You don't see Wisconsin or MSU pulling in top level recruiting classes. I disagree. Those are the types of players we've recruiting for the last 15 years and they haven't been good enough. Sure, Wisconsin and MSU have won the big 10 with some not so great recruiting classes, but it's not easy. They've been blessed with some pretty stellar coaching staffs and they've had a system they've recruited too for a long time. Nebraska is just now starting to establish an identity to work with, and it will take years for a mediocre recruiting classes to build a system into the place necessary to win championships. Or you can recruit 4 star players and win with a distinct athletic advantage that the top tier teams enjoy. 2 Quote Link to comment
