There will be at least one loss between those two ACC teams. Notre Dame plays at Arizona State Would it help all the other conferences if Miss St won out and Ole Miss beat Auburn this weekend? A two-loss SEC champ will almost assuredly still be in. But Miss St. losing to Alabama & Ole Miss, Miss losing to Auburn, Alabama losing to Auburn, Auburn losing to Georgia and Georgia losing the SEC championship game would put them all with two losses, so it's not all that far-fetched. If Georgia loses a game in the regular season then wins the SEC championship game, it would be interesting. That would mean a relatively-low-ranked Georgia team with two losses would be the SEC champ and would be tough for even a potentially one-loss team that didn't win the West to make that jump. GSG Posted October 29, 2014 Author Share Posted October 29, 2014 If Miss St wins out, beating Georgia in the SEC Championship, then Georgia would be at 11-2 or 10-3 depending on if they beat Auburn in a few weeks (I don't see them losing to UF, UK, Charlston Southern, or Ga Tech.) Ole Miss would be at 10-2 or 9-3 depending on whether they beat Auburn this week (I don't see them losing to Presbyterian or Arkansas). Alabama would be at 10-2 or 9-3 depending on whether they beat Auburn at the end of the year (Might get upset by LSU as well [maybe]) Auburn would be at best 11-1 or could go all the way to 7-5 (Last 5 games are Ole Miss, A&M, Georgia, Samford [W], and Alabama) Quote Link to comment
