tom12983
I don't suggest you play roulette my boy. Past events are not indicative of future results. If the ball falls on red 18 times in a row, what are the odds you will hit black this time? Still 50/50 'm I right or 'm I right??? You know, I feel bad for you just a wee bit. Your glass is half empty... I understand. You came, you saw the optimism spreading like wildfire. You thought you were throwing around some realism and you were actually overcome with pessimism. It's no big deal...just next time, I would keep that crap to yourself or at least change up your delivery. Not telling you what to do, just a suggestion. Can I engage you in a little wager? I would like your permission to say "I told you so" because as I said at the beginning of this thread, I would rather be one the ones saying "I told you" on the side of a husker win rather than on a loss. I am not superstitious, but I got a feeling... I could just have gas, but I really believe we are on the verge here. Enjoy the game. I'll have you on the back of my mind and praying that your foot makes it into your mouth by the end of the game. Start stretching! Off topic but the roulette thing is not really that black and red...the odds of 18 straight reds is a long shot...so yes every spin is an equal red/black percentage but odds do change with each subsequent spin. So history shows Bo will drop a game as the favorite...heck most teams lose a game they are favored in every season...I don't knwo how this team will respond. Will we try to out muscle them like we did with MSU or will we actually gameplan and exploit NW's weaknesses... Red and black aren't 50/50 bets. I stand corrected...I forgot about 0/00 bets. Not a betting man...you can see why. Albert Einstein said the only way to win consistently at roulette is to steal chips from the croupier when he's not looking. My bet is on Nebraska for the record. Saunders
W-L record of the second game in back-to-back road games: 1-5 10-1 in games after a conference loss last 5 years. So.... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 1 Quote Link to comment

I like your style. Best game I've seen them deliver in a while, including Miami this year. Taint easy to saunter into Evanston and dominate. Quote Link to comment

Actually, History tells us that since we have joined the Big Ten, Northwestern has been beaten at home by 3 scores or more 3 times.
