I don't suggest you play roulette my boy. Past events are not indicative of future results. If the ball falls on red 18 times in a row, what are the odds you will hit black this time? Still 50/50 'm I right or 'm I right???

You know, I feel bad for you just a wee bit. Your glass is half empty... I understand. You came, you saw the optimism spreading like wildfire. You thought you were throwing around some realism and you were actually overcome with pessimism. It's no big deal...just next time, I would keep that crap to yourself or at least change up your delivery. Not telling you what to do, just a suggestion. Can I engage you in a little wager? I would like your permission to say "I told you so" because as I said at the beginning of this thread, I would rather be one the ones saying "I told you" on the side of a husker win rather than on a loss. I am not superstitious, but I got a feeling... I could just have gas, but I really believe we are on the verge here. Enjoy the game. I'll have you on the back of my mind and praying that your foot makes it into your mouth by the end of the game. Start stretching! :D

Dwyane doesn't appreciate that Abdullah.

I just said that since it was a Kool-Aid thread Addison. I knew you were more of a realist and at times cynical fan than a lot on here. I'm totally cool with that... We're all fans our own way. Just seemed a bit trollish to drop a "NW will win" with no follow-up (which you've since provided).

Actually it's never 50/50 in roulette my boy.

But besides that, comparing the indicativeness of past results to future outcomes between a roulette wheel and a football team is pretty ridiculous. The Huskers are bound to drop a game or two to underdogs this year, just as in past years. Why not Northwestern?

I can't remember the last conference game where someone didn't get flamed for predicting a Husker's loss, and guess what? There have been plenty of times they've been right the past few years

Is this guy for real? Why are you here? Not even a "Well, through my extensive expert analysis, I give Northwestern the edge in this one" he just goes full on "Northwestern will win" bull crap. Who in heck are you? Go somewhere man. Put on some purple my boy and go stand on Northwesterns sideline cause you are not worthy to wear Red.

Oh good, the real fan rubric

I would love nothing more than the Huskers win, and a big cup of "I told you so!" from you

Ok no worries and I apologize if it came across trollish. GBR!

Off topic but the roulette thing is not really that black and red...the odds of 18 straight reds is a long shot...so yes every spin is an equal red/black percentage but odds do change with each subsequent spin. So history shows Bo will drop a game as the favorite...heck most teams lose a game they are favored in every season...I don't knwo how this team will respond. Will we try to out muscle them like we did with MSU or will we actually gameplan and exploit NW's weaknesses...

Red and black aren't 50/50 bets.
