sd'sker
Its cooler than a little brown jug... little brown jug has a history and character. It didn't have either the first year it was introduced. Like it or not..this trophy isn't for us, and likely not for our kids. It might mean something to our grandkids...that's the way these things gain history and character...with time. At least it isn't some pig... it did have a history. it comes from an event and it stuck. not some rubes in an athletic department trying to force a trophy for people to be interested in. and the character comes from it being a jug, which represents a unique moment and memory that the schools share. this trophy could be used for any two universities. 2 Quote Link to comment

RedRedJarvisRedwine
Also, is the game being played on Veterans Day every year? Cause that day moves on the calendar. Some years we might have to play a double header if my calculations are correct? Quote Link to comment

Warrior10
At least I can see a legit rivalry building with Wisky, unlike the manufactured one with Iowa. Quote Link to comment
