np_husker
Our Athletic Director has me concerned. http://www.omaha.com/huskers/barfknecht-is-nu-s-sellout-streak-the-next-cornerstone-to/article_7f54b0b1-173d-5c82-9e86-f9c3cb73b07b.html Quote Link to comment
billdozer15
That is very concerning and was one of my fears with SE. Hopefully this is nothing more than Barf trying to stir something up, but i suspect otherwise. Quote Link to comment
C N Red
I wasn't a fan of the hire of SE. I think we need to get rid of the red headed soul stealer IMO. Pretty bad the best we could do was some guy who was trying to run a program in disarray. And if coaches are truly having trouble getting a meeting with him, that in of itself is a fire-able offense IMO. You are the AD, you are there FOR the coaches. If you can't talk to coaches you CANNOT be AD!!!!!!!! Quote Link to comment
HTO
Tough to take Lee's article serious when the second paragraph tied to the headline isn't true. Opposing teams tickets have zero impact on the sellout streak. Their tickets are assumed sold at the beginning of the season. With that said, nothing earth shattering in this article. Right or wrong, he's blowing smoke. That's it. 1 Quote Link to comment
NUinID
Not that Lee isn't right, but he spends the whole article whining about not getting any info from the AD office and then at the end he says he is not whining. SE does need to be a little more visible, but if that is his style that is his style. Personally, Bill Byrne, IMO had about the right demeanor for an AD. I know a lot didn't like him "Dollar Bill" and all, but BD, God love him, left the AD in a mess from years of neglect. 1 Quote Link to comment
np_husker
I didn't take it that Lee was whining. I think he was just expressing how difficult it is to get any info from the A.D. office. I doubt most Husker fans knew that. 1 Quote Link to comment

I doubt most Husker fans knew that. Yep, we were always concerned with how Pederson made the place a fortress. Sounds like Eichorst is doing it a bit the same way in terms of controlling information and access. 1 Quote Link to comment
JJ Husker
This article tells us nothing we didn't already know or suspect. SE is not going to give us any hints or indications until he has something to say. Then it will either be another vote of confidence in Pelini or the announcement that we are going a different direction. I guess I don't understand what people expect out of the AD's office. He's not gong to start bad talking Bo just because a bunch of fans and sports writers want him to. I expect there will be some sort of announcement shortly following the Iowa game. It may not be the one most of us want to hear but He won't be saying anything until then. This article is pretty much just Lee whining and kicking the hornets nest. Quote Link to comment

junior4949
For how long though? It would seem if a change is to be made that if happens almost immediately after Friday. If we wait until after the bowl game, it will turn into one giant clusterfook. Quote Link to comment
C N Red
Does anybody else have a problem with coaches at the University not being able to get a meeting with him???? That is the thing that stuck out most to me. That's not acceptable as the AD at a major college!! Quote Link to comment

Doesn't he think they have enough to do already? Quote Link to comment
