Eric the Red
Dude had 15 tackles today and a pick. But he can be high risk, high reward as he got burned on the little 5 yard out route for a TD Quote Link to comment
presidentjlh
Important to remember, like DPE, he's a freshman. I can handle those types of mistakes from freshmen. What matters more is that his good contributions greatly outweigh any liability he has. I am uncertain if he'll win all-league honors, but, he's deserving, and he will make those honors in upcoming seasons. Quote Link to comment

ColoradoHusk
Dude had 15 tackles today and a pick. He is playing a 2 high safety and has to run all the way out on the WR when the CB blitzes. I am not very down on him for that. Quote Link to comment
Husker_x
Kid is a monster safety. So glad he's got plenty of games left ahead of him. We have a very solid foundation within this defense. Quote Link to comment
hskerholic
And to think if Alexander had not got suspended he would not have gotten as many game reps this season. Quote Link to comment
ADS
His name isn't Nathan. Please refer to him as "Defense Rex" from now on. 1 Quote Link to comment
Comish
And to think if Alexander had not got suspended he would not have gotten as many game reps this season. Or that we wasted a year with him being forced into a linebacker role............. Quote Link to comment
n.e.husker
Alexander and Gerry patrolling tha defensive backfield next year makes me hayy, get athletes on the field.. I liked Coop but man he seemed slower this year. 1 Quote Link to comment
Kernal
Yes, I think Gerry will be All-Big Ten. He's certainly earned the honor. Quote Link to comment

Or that we wasted a year with him being forced into a linebacker role............. I'd say it was far from a waste. Very thin at LB last year and pretty set at safety. Nate had said it, Bo said it as well, last year at LB helped his performance at safety this year immensely. 3 Quote Link to comment
The Dude
Well, I promised I'd use the "I told you so" card when being lambasted for suggesting he belongs at Safety. I told you so. Quote Link to comment
PaulCrewe
As to the OP, I could see first team by the coaches and second by the media. Kid has just improved all year and has been very salty here at the end and had a very bright future Quote Link to comment
NUance
Kurtis Drummon (Sparty), Nathan Gerry and Landon Feichter (Turdue). All-B1G will likely be two of these three. The other two are seniors. That shouldn't matter, but the way things work, it just might. Quote Link to comment
