tschu
Everything sets up incredibly well to make it to Indy next year. I'd consider not winning the West a failure, given how the schedule sets up. It's not EVER going to get any easier than what we have on our B1G slate in 2015. As far as BYU and Miami go, I don't know. I think we drop one of those games. I honestly see another 9-3 type season. Which is totally fine given the change. Quote Link to comment
HuskerfaninOkieland
I expect to see zero linemen pancaked by the wind. You have lofty expectations Quote Link to comment
NUance
One of my expectations is that we won't have any of the guys on our two-deep quit school and transfer. Seems like that happened more than it should have the past several years. Not sure why. But it really hurt our team. Not sure about win-loss expectations. Our schedule looks to be about the same difficulty next year, but we lost some key players. I'd say winning 9 games is a reasonable expectation. That, and not getting blown out by the likes of Wisconsin. Again. I have increased expectations under Riley for recruiting. I was not impressed with Bo's recruiting efforts. Recruiting seemed like a task that Bo viewed with disdain. Just IMHO--it's not like he came out and said that. 1 Quote Link to comment
HuskerfaninOkieland
My biggest expectation is the best player is the starter. None of this favoritism crap. Team plays hard each game with no stupid mental mistakes. Quote Link to comment
Something Clever
9-10 wins and if we don't win the west, at least claim 2nd place. It will probably depend on how far they are able to develop Tommy (or Stanton). Quote Link to comment
RotoRiot
10 wins with none of our losses of more than 14 points Quote Link to comment
NUance
I expect to see zero linemen pancaked by the wind. +1. But how could you even think about posting that without the gif? Possibly the greatest Husker fb comedy gif of all time! Quote Link to comment
Dr. Mantis Toboggan
I expect to see zero linemen pancaked by the wind. This would be a step in the right direction Quote Link to comment
Dr. Mantis Toboggan
I expect a 4 to 5 loss season. Mainly because of schedule strength and new coaching staff with players they are not familiar with. I think a winning season is a must, but I will not be upset if we do not reach 9 wins. It all depends on what games we lose and how we lose them, as long as we are competitive in every game I will be happy. Quote Link to comment
skersfan
I am anxious to see how the kids responds to the new staff. Our future for the next couple of years depends on this. They take it as an opportunity, put their heads down and learn, embrace the new staff, the limit is quite high. My hopes are that the culture changes quickly and the kids play up to their talent level, that the new staff feels welcome and encouraged by the fans. I set no numbers, because at this point I have no facts to base anything on, other than my fan desires. See a team play in control, excited and confident in their coaches, I will be happy. Win the games we are supposed to, play to win the games not favored in and look worthy on the field. New day, new time, New Year, no expectations, just hope for Nebraska to return to being the Nebraska we all love and are fans of. Unification of the fan base is my main expectation. LumberJackSker
I don't see a Conference Championship Game appearance. New systems being put in place, questions on the offensive line and this defense was very overrated. I'd say 8-4 or 9-3 is likely but if Nebraska lost to BYU and Miami to start the year and ended up being 7-5 or even 6-6 I wouldn't be shocked Quote Link to comment
obert1
Fear not having Ameer. Excited about the defense, especially with the return of M Rose and CJax. Offense I really have no clue. Have some really good players, WesterK, DPE, CC etc; but questions at QB/RB and who will be next years AA or leader. I have the feeling O-line will improve though. Quote Link to comment
onlyHskrfaninIL
My only hope is that a positive winning culture starts to develop. Bo failed at it because he himself doesnt exemplify those characteristics. I think riley has a much better shot at it. Quote Link to comment
Hunter94
i want to see some development and discipline in our QB play! Quote Link to comment
Branno
A winning season. That's all I expect. Coaching changes can be hard. Don't think we'll make it to Indy (it'd be awesome, don't get me wrong). I hope for the best, but expect at the very least a bowl appearance. Quote Link to comment
