southernoregonhusker
Oregon without Mariotta is WAY too high. Quote Link to comment
Kiyoat Husker
No SEC in the top 7? Might be a little over-reaction to the bowls but I'll take it Quote Link to comment
Redux
Oregon without Mariotta is WAY too high.Agreed. Top 10 maybe but top 5 probably need to earn that. LSU should be higher, FSU and Wisconsin should be lower. Quote Link to comment
NoLongerN
Glad to see Huskers, Oklahoma and Michigan off list. Gotta put OSU #1. Oregon lower. Bama higher. Arkansas higher. Quote Link to comment
teachercd
NU probably would have been 25th with Bo...you would think they would sneak in around 20th with Riley. Quote Link to comment
knapplc
These polls are only accurate when they have Nebraska ranked absurdly high. 2 Quote Link to comment
teachercd
These polls are only accurate when they have Nebraska ranked absurdly high. Ha! Even in that case it gives the self-loathing Husker fan a chance to say "I would not have them ranked that high, let them prove it first" Quote Link to comment
Redux
I sure as hell wouldnt rank Nebraska. WAY too many unknowns at this point. New coach, new system, No Ameer, No Bell, No Gregory. Yeah they neex to play some ball before they get any ranking love. Quote Link to comment
Saunders
USC is too high, otherwise, it's hard to argue. Quote Link to comment
Redmusky
No SEC in the top 7? Might be a little over-reaction to the bowls but I'll take it After the first week of game they will have 5 teams in the top 10. I notice no Missouri Tigers 11 or 12 wins you think they should have made the list Quote Link to comment
Redux
USC is too high, otherwise, it's hard to argue. I think they are gonna be a lot better than ya think. This isnt the Lane Kiffin preseason #1 USC that nosedived into multiple losses. Quote Link to comment
HuskerPowerVA
Surprised Ohio St. is not number 1. They aren't losing that much. Not to be a homer, but I think VA-Tech is going to rebound and surprise some people next year. Quote Link to comment
Count 'Bility
The USC thing is a god damn joke. I dont care how talented they are and who's coming back and this and that. All they did during the Holiday Bowl was preach and preach about USC being so elite next year. If that's so, what does that say about Nebraska? Seriously. Right there with them every step of the way. In position to beat them. If you use this season as a gauge for next season, Nebraska should have jsut as legit a shot. You can claim talent all you want, but hte game has to be played on the field. And again, the preseason rankings doing everything they can to screw up college football. 1 Quote Link to comment
