Mavric Posted March 17, 2015 Share Posted March 17, 2015 Alex Gordon, Eric Piatkowski and Dave Rimington are three of 22 former Husker athletes being inducted into the inaugural class of the Nebraska Athletics Hall of Fame. The former Husker athletes will be enshrined on Sept. 5 in conjunction with the Husker football season-opener against BYU. The inaugural Hall of Fame class includes one inductee from every current Nebraska sport, plus an honoree from the men’s swimming program, which was a recognized varsity sport from 1921 to 2001. If it was in vague to select a OL as a Heisman winner, he probably would have won 2 of them. As it is, the Trophy named after him sets the tone and high standard by which all OL should be judged. We could always use a few more Remington's. Will Shields and J Rogers are legit for next class But I think Tommie Frazier should be in that class as well - even before Eric Crouch and Mike Rozier.
